Cpanel Tutorial - Reading Your Emails via Webmail

Once you have set up your email accounts, the easiest way to access your email messages will be via Cpanel's Webmail feature. The great thing about Cpanel's webmail is that you don't have to worry about finding email software to work with and you can skip having to set up POP email access etc.

Cpanel, provides several different webmail programs you can use to read and manage your email. The following screencast tutorial will take you through SquirrelMail.

Having gone through all that though, I would just like to make you aware of the alternatives to using Cpanel webmail.

The first obvious alternative is, of course, to use another email software to download your emails, such as Outlook Express or Thunderbird.

But here's the set up that I have. I use Gmail to access all my emails. But this is a matter of preference. I like the way Gmail works. I find it faster to work with and Gmail's spam filter, in my opinion, is one of the best that I've experienced.
