Introduction to Blogging with WordPress

In this tutorial series, we will be setting up a blog using a wonderful free yet powerful script called WordPress.

What is WordPress?

WordPress is an open source blogginrg script. It is a free and easy way to start publishing your content to the internet. I can go on and on about what it is but I'll save some time and just direct you to the WordPress web site for more information about it.

Why WordPress?

Because it is a great script and it's free. It is also one of the easiest scripts to install and use. The fact that it's open source means there are hundreds if not thousands of people working to crush any bugs and to extend the features of WordPress. And you can access these improvements without having to pay any additional costs.

The best way to really see how WordPress works is to just go ahead and use it. So, in this tutorial series that's exactly what we're going to do.
